In the school of life
do we teach each other
how to learn:
we are water, electrical
affinity
moment-by-moment
consciousness
grains of sand
who can
build
peak
release
change
disrupt the collective vibe
(pull it under the covers so no one hears)
the slicing and dicing (of us)
through an altered mirror
stuck inside this kaleidoscope
fractured—
we
are
pieces kept small
narrowly defined
as time, fundamental
solid, flashes
into and out of
little, chaotic stars
left pulsing…
are you green?
.
.

Or are you blue?
.
.
.
.

Down with the ship.
It’s time to find out.
